BBQ Recipe: Easy Chicken BBQ

I must say this BBQ sauce that I just tried not too long ago has come in handy.

I came up with this BBQ recipe after a day long searching for BBQ sauce recipe to marinate chicken for the cookout with friends. Well, the recipes that I found online were not that hard, but I just didn't have all the ingredients they required at the time, so I adapted to fit in with what I had at home.

Before making the sauce, I recommend you to add about 2 Tsp. of milk to your choice of meat (I think this sauce is work wonderfully only to chicken and pork). Milk will help soften your meat and make it juicier in somehow.

Here is the recipe for my BBQ sauce:
  • 4 Tsp. Ketchup
  • 4 Tsp. Brown Sugar
  • 1 Tsp. A1 Sauce
  • 1/2 Tsp. Salt
  • A pinch of Black Paper
  • A pinch of Paprika

Now it's time to marinate the chicken with our homemade BBQ sauce by mixing the sauce with chicken, then add:

  • drained Chunk Pineapple (1 Can)
  • Bell Pepper (can be red or green or both)
  • Sweet Onion (which I don't have it this time)

You can always omit the bell pepper and the sweet onion part, but never forgot the pineapple because the sweetness and tangy taste from the pineapple makes so much different in this dish. Well, after tried this recipe quite a few times, I came to realize how much pineapple means to me!

After everything is well mixed. Cover the bowl and lets it sits for couple hours. The longer, the better!

After a few hours in the fridge, it's time for baking (also taste good in grill as a kabobs too).

Heat the oven to 400 F. Put the chicken with some of the vegetable mixes in the pan and cover it up with aluminum foil. Bake it for about an hour. Now it's ready to be served with the side of warm rice!

The chicken breast with this sauce also came out really nice (from the last attempt, a few days ago).

    Enjoy the BBQ!

Be happy, Be healthy, Happy everyday!
